Shows & tickets
Where do I buy tickets?
Every date on the tour page links straight to that venue’s own box office. Buy there. The club runs the seating, the refunds and the drink minimum, so it’s the safest place to get real tickets at face value.
Skip resale sites. They sometimes list dates that have been moved or canceled.
What is a Dr. Kojo show like?
It’s stand-up about ADHD, autism, AuDHD and the brains nobody explained to us. Kojo opens with a roll call (“Where my ADHD people at? Where my autistic people at?”) and raises his own hand. Expect a room full of people who finally feel like the joke is about them, in a good way.
It’s a comedy show, not a therapy session or a lecture.
Is the show 21+?
Most of his dates are in comedy clubs, and most comedy clubs are 21 and up. Emerald City, Mic Drop and Atlanta Comedy Theater all list 21+. Each venue sets its own age rule, so check the ticket page for your city before you buy.
Is there a drink minimum?
At many clubs, yes. Two-item minimums are common, and that usually includes food and non-alcoholic drinks. The venue’s ticket page will say. Kojo does not get a cut of your mozzarella sticks.
Is it okay to fidget, stim or step out during the show?
Yes. This is probably the most fidget-friendly comedy crowd in the country. Bring the fidget toy, wear the headphones around your neck, step out if you need a minute. If you need a specific seat or accommodation, ask the venue when you book, since they control the room.
Will he come to my city?
He’s touring clubs across the US and adding dates all the time. The fastest way to find out is to join the email list. You’ll get one email when tickets drop near you, before they’re announced everywhere else.
Run a club or a college and want him there? Send a booking request.
What happened to the Virginia Beach and Richmond dates?
Those shows moved to 2027. New dates will be posted on the tour page as soon as the venues confirm them, and the email list hears first.
About Kojo
Is Dr. Kojo a real doctor?
Yes. Kojo Sarfo is a doctorally prepared psychiatric nurse practitioner (DNP). He earned his doctorate at Augusta University and spent years working in psychiatric hospitals before comedy took over. He’s a nurse practitioner, not a physician, and his shows and videos are entertainment, not medical advice.
Can I get medical advice or a diagnosis from Dr. Kojo?
No. The shows, videos and this website are comedy and entertainment. Nothing here is medical advice, and he can’t evaluate or diagnose anyone through social media, email or a show. If you think you might have ADHD, autism or another condition, talk with a licensed clinician you trust.
If you’re in crisis, call or text 988 (the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline in the US) or call 911.
Does Dr. Kojo have ADHD?
Yes. He went undiagnosed until his mid-20s, while he was in graduate school, and a lot of his comedy comes from finally understanding why school was so hard. He says it best himself: “I lead with my story because we heal and learn as a community.”
Where have I seen him before?
Probably on your For You page. He has more than 7 million followers across TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Threads and Snapchat, and more than 2 billion views in 2025. He has also appeared on Netflix (John Mulaney Presents: Everybody’s in L.A.), NBC’s TODAY show and ABC7 Los Angeles, and he spoke on the Academy’s mental health panel for the 95th Oscars.
Does he have a podcast or a book?
Both. His podcast is The Neurodivergent Struggles Show. His books are Feeling Good! A Mental Health Workbook (Adams Media, an imprint of Simon & Schuster) and You Already Won, his story from ESL classrooms to a doctorate.
Booking, speaking & press
How do I book Dr. Kojo?
Use the booking request form. It asks for the date, location, audience and budget up front, so his team can answer quickly. Clubs, colleges, conferences, companies and brands all go through the same form. You can also email info@kojosarfo.com.
What does he speak about?
Neurodiversity, mental health awareness and building a community through comedy, told through his own story. Popular formats are a comedy keynote, a stand-up set, a panel or a fireside chat. See the speaking page for topics. Talks are entertainment and education, not clinical training.
Does he do virtual events?
Yes. Online talks and live-streamed appearances are available. Pick “Virtual” on the booking form.
I’m a journalist. Where’s the press kit?
The press kit has his bio in three lengths, approved photos, logos, current numbers and a downloadable PDF. For interviews, email info@kojosarfo.com with your outlet and deadline.
Does he work with brands?
Yes. He has worked on campaigns with national brands, from healthcare to streaming. Brand and campaign requests go through the booking form; choose “Brand partnership”.
Merch & everything else
Where can I buy Dr. Kojo merch?
On the merch page. Tees are $35 and hoodies are $45, including the fan favorite, “It’s All Good In The Neurodivergent Hood.” Checkout happens on his official store.
How do I get a video, shout-out or reply from Kojo?
He reads a lot of messages but can’t answer them all. The best ways to connect are coming to a show, joining the free Discord or supporting him on Patreon. Please don’t send medical questions or personal health details; he can’t respond to those.
In crisis? This is a comedy website and can’t help in an emergency. In the US, call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, text HOME to 741741, or call 911.
Booking, speaking & press
Clubs, colleges, conferences, brands and media. He replies to emails faster than texts. Allegedly.
